There will be big changes this summer when Martin Ling is forced to find several new players for The O's. Latest news tells us that another five players have rejected their offers from Leyton Orient FC. Key squad members like Glyn Garner, Gary Alexander, Craig Easton, Luke Guttridge and Adam Tanner all rejected the latest offer from the club, and they will now start the search for a new club. It could be argued that Tann and Garner could both be replaced fairly easily, but the loss of players of Easton, Alexander and Guttridge calibre will be a blow for every Orient-fan.
Martin Ling will now be looking for something like ten new players for the new campaign, so the squad will have a extensive overhaul this summer. These players will join players who earlier declared that they would be leaving this summer: John Mackie, Shane Tudor, Justin Miller, Donny Barnard, Derek Duncan and Phil Mulruyne.
Martin Lings comments before his summersearch: " There is no sense of panic, and although the shoppinglist has expended to needing ten players, I have every confidence in my ability and the ability of this football club to bring in better players to replace those who have decided to leave."
"It is certainly going to be a busy summer, but it is a challenge that I'm looking forward to."
